Each of these pillars is guided by the DGBlue and mapped to a lifecycle that governs every data element. Before acting on any governance initiative, it’s essential to understand how each element aligns within the lifecycle stages of the blueprint. 

 

The DGBlue lifecycle consists of the following seven stages:

• Use 

• Share 

• Archive/Destroy 

 

With a clear understanding of both the governance pillars and the lifecycle stages, we can now define specific, actionable steps for each pillar at each stage of the lifecycle. This approach enables consistent, scalable, and accountable governance practices across your data ecosystem.
